Welcome 
BitterSweet Retrievers is a small hobby kennel located in northeast Ohio.
Dogs here all have jobs! Some of our dogs are shown in conformation,
while others are worked, by our daughters, in 4H showmanship, and
AKC Rally, and Obedience competitions. Our youngest daughter has just
begun to show in AKC shows this summer and has put 2 legs of each
obedience and rally on her dog! GRCA field titles, are also in sight in
2009 (maybe a GRCA versitality title for Java!).
We breed about 1 litter a year, when we are ready to add another dog
to our family, or when enough past buyers are ready for that 2nd dog,
or have lost their original, "BitterSweet" retriever.
We are happy to announce that our boy "Java" recently finished his
Champion title!! He will now be specialed by handler, Helen Witt
towards a possible SDHF title. He has also received 3 BOB's
(Best of Breed) in limited showing. Watch for him in and around
the Ohio area. Java is now available to approved bitches. Please

We are members of both Cuyahoga Valley Golden Retriever Club and
Golden Retriever Club of America.
